PFC Shows Versatility At Publix
Is anyone else’s significant other elated that Publix is popping up everywhere around town? This month, we had the opportunity to contribute to the construction of a brand-new Publix supermarket near Norton Commons in a variety of ways.
This project really showcased the variety of fencing solutions we offer:
Wooden Privacy Fence
Mechanical Cage w/ Roof
Composite Covered Dumpster Gates
Dumpster enclosure design is an area that we have recently seen an increased emphasis on construction projects. They’re being designed with longevity and aesthetics in mind, much like this double drive gate at Publix. Composite boards on steel frames delivers a stronger option including recycled materials.

What We’re Building…
Hurstbourne Country Club Bridge
With the ISCO Championship fast approaching, Hurstbourne CC realized a small bridge on the course needed a fence—last minute. We jumped in, expedited materials, and installed a sleek ornamental fence that enhances the bridge’s look and keeps the course tournament-ready. Just in time for the PGA spotlight!

Louisville Metro Impound Lot Entrance
Ever wonder where cars go to die? Behind this fence is where. The City Impound Lot got a totally new security facelift this past month with a brand new chain link fence at the entrance. After some demo and elbow grease, this place went from crusty to trusty.
Court-Side Upgrade in French Lick, IN
We hit the road & headed north to Cherry Hills Park, where we installed chain link fence around a new basketball court and a nearby playground and picnic area. The result? A safer, more secure space for the community to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

DID YOU KNOW…
…during the late 1800s, “fence-cutting wars” broke out across the American West. Ranchers began fencing off large tracts of land with barbed wire, which clashed with the open-range lifestyle of small farmers and cattlemen. Tensions escalated into vandalism, sabotage, and even violence.
In Texas, cutting someone’s fence was once a felony, punishable by prison time—laws enacted to protect private property and de-escalate the conflicts.
Fences still define boundaries and protect investments—but now we settle disputes with permits, professionalism, & paralegals, not pliers and prairie justice.
